3 Unique Classes & Creative Experiences to
Try in Naples, Florida
One of the things I love most about Naples is the creative energy that flows through our community. From hands-on workshops to beautiful art you can make yourself, there’s no shortage of inspiring ways to spend an afternoon. Here are three experiences I’ve personally tried (and loved!) that I think you’ll enjoy, whether you live here or are just visiting.
1. In-Home Baking Experience with Miss Baking Lady
If you’ve ever dreamed of having your own personal pastry chef, this is your chance. Chelsea Turner, also known as Miss Baking Lady, is a Culinary Institute of America trained pastry chef who brings the magic of baking right into your home.
She takes care of everything - the tools, ingredients, and even the cleanup, so all you have to do is enjoy the experience. Her desserts aren’t just mouthwateringly delicious, they’re also little works of art. Chelsea offers classes for both kids and adults, making this a perfect option for family fun, a birthday celebration, or just because.
2. Resin Art Class at Naples Resin Workshop
If you’re looking for something a little different than your usual art class, Naples Resin Workshop is a must-try. Resin art has a glossy, high-end look, and the options are endless, from geode inspired art pieces to serving trays and cutting boards.
It’s a great group activity because everyone leaves with their own unique creation and a keepsake from the day. The workshop atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, with just the right amount of guidance so you can feel confident creating something beautiful.
3. Textured Art Experience with Naples Art Picnic
I first met Elena of Naples Art Picnic when I hosted her for an event at Southern Sunday and I can honestly say it was one of the most approachable and fun art classes I’ve ever tried.
As someone who doesn’t consider myself “artistic,” I was surprised at how creative and capable I felt during this experience. Elena provided everything, refreshments, light bites, and all the materials, plus the perfect blend of instruction and creative freedom. It’s the kind of event that leaves you feeling inspired and wanting to do it all over again.
Why I Love These Experiences
All three of these classes have something in common: they make it easy to try something new without the pressure of perfection. You get to enjoy the process, learn a new skill, and leave with something special, whether that’s a dessert, a piece of art, or a happy memory.
If you’re looking for fun things to do in Naples that go beyond the beach and the restaurants, I can’t recommend these enough.
