Savoring Summer in Naples
There’s something special about July in Naples—the pace slows, the sunsets linger, and the city feels like it’s just for us locals. We’re embracing these slower days with sandy toes, spontaneous ice cream stops, and moments that feel like a breath of fresh air.
At Southern Sunday, we’re also using this time to reset, regroup, and fine-tune behind the scenes. With exciting things in the works (hint: new arrivals, fresh styling tips, and a few surprises), now’s the perfect time to stay tuned and stay close.

Naples Summer Guide
Get Out On The Water
With longer days and less crowds, this is the perfect time to get out on the water! My personal favorite way is taking out my paddle board for a fun way to see the sunset. There are so many places to launch but my personal favorites are Capri Paddle Craft Park and the 33rd Ave S Beach Access.
Mighty Mussels Baseball Games
While technically north of Naples, there’s something about spending a summer evening at the ballpark. The Mighty Mussels are a MN Twins farm team and always provide an entertaining experience for the whole family!

Fourth of July Fireworks
The only thing better than fireworks, is fireworks over the Gulf. Visit downtown Naples to see a 30 minute fireworks show over the water. Make sure you allow ample time for parking & finding the perfect spot on the beach.
